Churchill Square, Brighton - An ENORMOUS success

The event at Churchill Square, Brighton, was an enormous success. The demand was greater than the number of pool frames available and as a result there was non-stop action all day, which pleased the many spectators who had gathered to watch... With a total of 162 frames played, with 88 on Saturday and 74 on Sunday, and the public winning a credible 10 frames, this broke the previous record of 137. The number of volunteers with Hearing Dogs who came in stood at a very impressive seven and they were all different breeds which was a nice bonus. This meant that it was a very visible fundraising event with a difference! Due to the number of requests as to when Charity Exhibitions were putting another event on, we can only apologise as we await management's decision as to whether to host another event, but by the response of all concerned, we are quietly confident that we will make another appearance. We certainly hope so, as we enjoyed it as much as everyone else seemed to!
