We have several different ways to raise money, as shown below in the Options.
Please take a moment to read through each Option - to find out more about each option, click on the PLUS sign (+) to expand.
Once you have looked through them all, select the Options you like, and then fill in our simple form here and we will send you your starter pack!
It is as simple as that!

Option 1: A Landlords’ Dream
Perfect for Landlords! Boost income, provide entertainment and help charity! -
A Landlords‘ Dream, as this is an all-round winner. By holding 20 weekly tournaments, each tournament will provide a winner who will secure a frame on exhibition night against the professional. This increases trade on otherwise quiet nights, and runs itself. Little work required. Maximum 3 frames per person.
To enter each tournament, a £2.50 donation is suggested - or a donation of £25 will gain entry into all 20 weekly tournaments.
The exhibition, taking place in the 21st week, will see the professional play the 20 winners. If the tournament winners can win 10 frames or more out of the 20 played, the landlord wins a free Supreme Winner‘s Table!
This can also work with leagues - the 20 tournaments can be held in different pubs on a weekly/daily/whatever basis.
-
Option 2: Sponsorship Competition
A Frame Secured for the Top 20 Fundraisers! -
Sponsorship forms will be sent to you that you can hand out - the challenge is for everyone to raise as much as they can, as the top 20 fundraisers will get a game against the professional on the exhibition night. Minimum £25 must be raised.
The results will not be revealed until the exhibition night (this encourages people to raise more, instead of securing the first 20 frames and the fundraising stops). The organiser will be aware of the money raised.
-
Option 3: ‘Partnering a Charity’
Raise Funds through Player Registrations -
When players register, you could increase the registration fee by £‘x’ - state that the £‘x’ is going to the League‘s Chosen Charity - Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. This would raise £‘x’ without any effort.
-
Option 4: Exhibition Tickets
Raise 20% of your target simply by selling tickets for entry to the Exhibition -
Simply charge £‘x’ amount for entry into the exhibition night.
-
Option 5: League/Sponsor/Company Donation
An Easy Way to get a Donation -
You can ask the league/sponsor/company to make a donation. This is a simple way, and sometimes produces good results.
We have templates that you can ask for to save you the trouble of writing a letter! Just mention PLAN 5 when contacting us!
-
Option 6: Raffle
A Traditional Fundraiser! -
While raffles are a popular pastime, it can also be time-consuming. This is a good option if you already have a contact list of potential donors and if so, go ahead. It is entirely up to you if you would like this, but there are easier ways.
-
Option 7: Fundraising Target Splitter
Split the Fundraising Target by the number of Frames to make 30 Small Targets! -
Split the fundraising target by 30 (number of frames available) and give our sponsorshiop form to those who wish to play. This means each £20 raised entitles them to one frame. As soon as 30 frames go, the money is raised!
-
Option 8: Collection Tins/Buckets
Collect your customer's Loose Change! -
A great way to collect people's loose change. A few months may mean a hundred quid or more. It all helps!
If you have a suggestion or idea that is not list here, please do let us know here and we may add it to the database.
