The Challenge - ‘Around the Country in 43 Days’
The 2011 English Counties Charity Pool challenge is a unique and exciting event - and we need your help to make the most of this wonderful opportunity. In 43 consecutive days Carl ‘Houdini’ Morris will attempt to complete an epic programme of 43 pool exhibitions in 43 English counties.
Carl is aiming to raise a potentially life-saving £43,000 for Against Breast Cancer’s vital research into the disease that affects too many people in the UK.
Kicking off in Northumberland on Saturday 9 July 2011, Carl will race through the county list below before reaching Kent and his final exhibition on Saturday, 20 August 2011.
We are looking for partners to host each one of Carl’s exhibitions.
As an official partner, The English Counties Charity pool Challenge offers you:
- An evening of entertainment that is sure to draw a big audience
- An attraction that your regular customers, friends and colleagues will enjoy
- Exclusive booking in your county, with great local publicity opportunities, and
- The opportunity to raise funds to fight a disease that affects us all
How you can help
All we need is a minimum donation of £1,000 from each of the 43 venue partners. To confirm the booking - which will be exclusive to each county - we require a £500 donation or £250 deposit. To find out more, and to register, please use our registration form.
